Our family tree is littered with Agricultural Labourers, Domestic Servants, Labourers and other mundane sounding jobs depending on the place and era, but some of the men and women seemed to gravitate to a particular profession which was often carried on by one or more of their descendants. I have decided to list the more prominent occupations including the individual or family names and possibly a little background history on individual pages. I also hope to include a page for the many who served in various forces - some who were fortunate to survive and others who sadly died in combat. An active page is highlighted in green!
